How to Prepare a Gift for Your Father in Father's Day

Father's day is a special festival for fathers all over the world. On that day, you should do something to show your love and appreciate to father. Different country has different ways of celebrating father's day. All the ways are related to gift, dinner or other activities. In this warm season, what kind of gift should you prepare for your father?

1. A comfortable shirt
A beautiful style shirt is not good as a comfortable one. For the elderly, heath is the best fashion. So, you can buy a comfortable shirt to father which could show your consideration. But please note that you should buy a right size.

2. Most elderly men have vision problems. You can take your father to make a vision checkup and buy a pair of comfortable glasses for him. The glasses should be in good quality. Or you can apply for a health card for him. The elderly is always in bad health condition. You should take him to make a physical examination at least once a year.

3. No matter how busy you are on that day, spend more time to stay with your father. Most people are afraid of loneliness especially for the elderly. When you grow up, because of the work, you spend little to stay with parents. But on father's day, you should call off all the activities, go home earlier and stay with your father. I believe that this is the best gift for him.

4. Cook for your father
It is mum who cooks for us every day. But in father' day, let mum have a rest. You can buy some father's favorite food and cook for him by yourself.

No matter your cooking skill is good or not, they will feel happy. The dishes will taste different which is full of your sweet love for him.

5. Most elderly people like to nurture plants and flowers in their leisure time. So, you can choose to send him the seeds, potted plants or gardening tools. If they love cats or dogs, you can also send him a pet which could be a good partner.

6. If you are far away from your father can't go home on father's day, you can still do something special for him. You can take up your dv and record a piece of video for your father. In this video, you can tell your father what you want to say, you can show him your current life, you can show your own family members and so on. When they miss you, they will take out the video. It seems like that you are at his side. If you recorded the video and want to know how to convert avi to mov on mac, you can click http://www.league-soft.com for more information.

All above ideas are useful on father's day. But when they become old day after day, what they need is your consideration. We should put more love on our great father.

Nexus 4 reviews - Know Your Cell

The Nexus 4?is about a week away and this flagship Android phone is poised to be one of the best handsets this holiday season. The first wave of reviews are out, so let's see how the latest Nexus device fares.?

The Verge?was mostly positive, as they said it looks similar to the Galaxy Nexus from afar but is much more stylish once you get in closer. Android 4.2 is "fantastic" but the lack of LTE and a somewhat fragile back glass panel are causes for concern.?

"If you buy the Nexus 4, you have to decide whether you're willing to compromise data speeds for the purest and best form of the Android OS," The Verge wrote. "After comparing the options and seeing the gulf between Google's flagship and other devices on the market, I've decided it's a compromise I won't be making again."

Gizmodo?praises it for being "fast and smooth," and they were impressed that the camera could turn out some "really stunning shots." That last bit is important to me because the Galaxy Nexus had a pretty awful camera. They didn't like the lack of LTE or the battery life.?

"As of right now, it is officially my favorite phone by a healthy margin," Gizmodo wrote. "It's just so fast, so smooth, and the software is great ... The only thing that really gives me pause is battery life."?

Engadget echoed many of the same sentiments: the Nexus 4 performs extremely well, the Android 4.2 software is a blast and the camera is much improved but it's still has a fragile backing and the lack of 4G LTE is annoying.

"Sure, the Nexus 4 is not without its hiccups, but none of its predecessors have been perfect, either," Engadget wrote. "And given the boost in real-world performance, the bettere camera and various other new features, it's even more tempting than all those previous devices whose shoes it's trying to fill. In a case like this ... you have our permission not to resist."

There are other reviews out there?and it seems to follow along the same lines. The Nexus 4 appears to be the best-performing Android phone out there but the lack of 4G LTE may make some of you hesitant.?

If you're trying to determine if you should buy the Nexus 4 or something else, be sure to read Nexus 4 vs. Lumia 920, Nexus 4 vs. iPhone 5 and Nexus 4 vs. Galaxy S3.?

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? "Brave," ''Wreck-It Ralph" and "Rise of the Guardians" are among the animated features angling for an Oscar nomination.

The motion picture academy said Friday that 21 films have been submitted for consideration in the Academy Awards' animated feature category.

"Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," ''Frankenweenie," ''Ice Age Continental Drift" and "ParaNorman" are among the high-profile movies vying for one of five nominations. Other contenders include France's "The Rabbi's Cat" and Japan's "From Up on Poppy Hill."

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says several of the films listed have not yet had their required Los Angeles qualifying runs.

"Rango" won the prize earlier this year after 18 films were in nomination contention.

The 85th annual Academy Awards are set for Feb. 24, 2013, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
