WEMBLEY, England (AP) ? South Korea and Gabon, playing before a crowd of 76,927 at Wembley Stadium, played to a scoreless draw at the men's Olympic football quarterfinals Wednesday.
South Korea dominated with Koo Ja-cheol heading a first-half opportunity wide before Park Chu-yeong mistimed a pair of opportunities from close range after the break.
Gabon, needing to win by at least three goals, created few chances and was unlucky to lose midfielder Merlin Tandjigora to injury just after kickoff. Levy Madinda hit the post in the 65th minute.
South Korea finished two points behind Group B winner Mexico to play the winner of Group A, which can be won by Senegal, Britain or Uruguay.
Gabon finished last behind Switzerland with one point.
